Mens Varsity had a hard fought battle, after both girls finished their own nights off with victories. In a previous meeting with the Panthers, Comenius had come up just short with a 12 point lose just two weeks prior. So the taste of defeat was still fresh. After getting off to a slow start, the nights pick it up in the second half. The Knights were down by 9 to start the 2nd half, but continued to push the tempo. Late in the 4th, the Knights took the lead by a surge of offense from Chandler Manuel, his brother Coleman and, the man in the middle Devante Kelley. With 24 forth quarter points from the Knights, they took the conference match in victory by 9 points. The final score was 49-40. They have a huge night ahead of them tomorrow for Fan Knight, as all three teams look to keep the winning spirit alive! Look forward to seeing you there!

Yesterday all three Basketball teams played against a great conference competitor, the Greensboro Panthers. All three teams claimed victor in tough fought home matches agaisnt JV Girls, Varsity Women, and Varsity Men. The Jv girls started the night off with a incovincing fashion winning by doubl digits! To keep the ball rolling, the Varsity Girls started out read hot. However, late in the 4th the Panthers made a run at the Knights. Yet, Coach Cepeda and the Lady Knights were able to hold off that barrage until the end claiming a close victory 49-46.
